Camp Crossroads

Finding God in every moment

Friendship
Cabin Leaders guide their campers through the day as they share meals together, sit together in chapel, lead discussions, and plan a daily “cabin time” activity. Campers choose their own activities once they arrive at camp and so they have the opportunity to make even more friends outside of their cabin groups.

Faith
Campers start the day with a short personal quiet time of reflection. Chapel sessions begin with a dynamic time of singing and chapel speakers explore the message of God's love for us using a variety of media to keep things moving. Cabin groups meet together with their leaders after chapel to talk about what was taught and how it might be relevant to daily living.

Fun
In addition to all the usual exciting events at camp, campers choose the 4 activities that interest them most through a fun process we call Marketplace. They can plan to sign up with their friends, or plan to make new ones! Campers also have the option of signing up ahead of time for the Waterski/Wakeboard program and/or Horse program for an additional fee.

Junior High Chapel Speaker
Jamie Current

Jamie spent several summers working at Camp Crossroads in the past and is currently serving as the Youth Pastor at Glencairn Church in Kitchener. He and his wife Anna were recently married and he is also busy studying theology. When Jamie is not hanging out with youth or hitting the books, you can find him playing or watching sports (especially basketball!). Jamie loves Jesus and loves challenging youth to experience a real relationship with Jesus so we are excited that he will be joining us at Camp Crossroads again!

Additional Programs

Horse Program - Cost $200 + HST More time at "The Stables"! Campers who add the Horse Program to their overnight camp experience will spend 7 hours at “The Stables” this year compared to 4 hours previously. Campers will learn to ride, groom, tack and learn horse theory through games and activities. The Horse Program is a great place for first time riders to learn the basics and for intermediate riders to expand their skills in English Riding. Campers are assigned their own horse and tack for the week (helmets are included). Campers just need to bring/wear long pants like jeans, and some kind of boots with a heel.
Ski/Wakeboarding Program - Cost $170 + HST Come join the exciting Water Ski and Wakeboarding Program! This is one of our most popular activities! With instruction from experienced staff, campers are given the opportunity to learn within their skill level.
